Tell us a bit about yourself Audrey?
I’m the founder of Close With Copy, a hybrid human X AI copywriting consultancy. I launched my own consultancy last year and started my Linkedin journey to grow from 0 to 20K followers in just 8 months.
Your company Close with Copy, tell us about it and how you incorporate AI?
I provide 2 core types of services in my consultancy.
Human: I help clients craft high conversion copy for landing pages, ads and sales decks
AI: I build bespoke copywriting workflows for companies looking to streamline their processes.
What has your approach to AI been? What were your first thoughts when introduced to the tech compared to now?
When I first started, there was a lot of fear.
My client told me that I was going to be replaced by AI and sent me the link to ChatGPT. I decided to embrace the process.
I always believe in the human X AI approach. The goal of AI is never to completely replace the writer but to help the writer go 10X faster.
With AI, I personally have saved at least 60-70% of the time it usually takes to complete any piece of work.

A piece of advice for those creating content via ChatGPT?
Break it down into bite-sized steps. Don’t combine everything into 1 giant task.
Think of it as guiding a supercharged intern. If you break down your task, it will help your intern understand how to get to your end results.
What’s one step that people usually forget to do/take action on before getting copy generated by GPTs?
They forget to think about the strategy behind the copy. People always think it’s the copy that converts but it’s actually the audience insights and messaging that gets people to feel something and take action.
They are not buying a home-gym because they love working out. They’re buying it because they want to feel good about themselves. It’s important to figure out your campaign strategy, messaging and audience insights before generating copy.
Your advice for those that are reluctant to use AI in their business?
Don’t get left behind. AI is here to stay. It’s not a hype or fad. People like us are actually using it day-to-day. You need to start learning how to optimise your workflows with AI. This will keep you and your business one step ahead.
